Seismic is a fast growing trading company that’s specialized in algorithmic crypto-trading. By analyzing data we find new ways to interpret the market and we turn this into innovative trading algorithms.
As a quant trader you will help develop strategies that are already in development as well as develop strategies from scratch. Working in a startup environment gives you ample opportunity to leave your mark and grow.
Responsibilities
- Convert trading concepts to trading strategies
- Conceptualize and develop new trading strategies
- Set up and run tests for trading strategies
- Testing reporting
- Monitor live trade performances
- Responsible for P&L, position reconciliation and P&L risk report
- Work with developers to improve the efficiency and algorithms of the trading software
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in physics, mathematics, statistics, computer science and financial engineering
- Interest in financial markets is a must
- Strong mathematics aptitude and numerical sense
- Quantitative programming skills in Python
- Experience in algorithmic/ HFT trading/arbitrage trading is a plus
- Strong curiosity in Cryptocurrency is a plus
